If you want to help shape our state teams for 2027 Nationals, Softball SA is now accepting nominations from members wishing to join our State Selection Panels.

A State Selection Panel identifies and recommends squads for State Programs and teams for State Representation. In collaboration with the Head Coach, the panel ensures a fair selection process based on athletes’ performance at selection events. As a panel member, you must attend two selection events.

To be eligible, you must be either:
- A current or past State or National team member or coach within the last seven years.
- A Level 3 (Managing Games) certified softball coach who has coached at a club level in the last three years.
- An official of Softball SA or an affiliated association registered and actively involved in softball in the last three years.

Selection of squads and teams will generally occur between March and October.
