Players and Officials
For all age grades, only teams from affiliated South Australian associations are permitted to enter. The team will represent their association not a specific club; or will represent an Adelaide Softball Association club.

Invitational Teams & Players
For un-affiliated associations, or players from un-affiliated associations, there will be a requirement for each individual to register for a 1-week Junior Registration (or 1-Week Senior, or Official Registration for Coaches, Scorers or Team Managers). Please contact admin@softballsa.com.au for more information.

Adelaide Softball Association
ASA clubs can enter their own teams in any age grade, or can combine multiple ASA clubs to form a "Harlequin" team, for Under 16 and Under 18 Boys & Girls.
** If there is not a suitable ASA team for an ASA player, they can permit to another association - however, all other options at ASA must be explored before permits will be allowed. They must go through the standard Softball SA permit process via RevSport.

Individual Players
Players must be registered with the association/ASA Club they play for during the championship.

From Junior Championship Handbook 2026:

2. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Players may only play for the Association/ASA Club that holds their primary registration. Permits may only be considered if the Club/Association where the player holds their primary registration is not submitting a team at the appropriate grade for that player to participate in.
