We are excited to announce the highly anticipated 2024 State Championship dates and venue. 

Both the Senior and Junior Championships will be held at West Beach January 26-28, 2024. 

After the intended hosts for 2024 were unable to commit to the event, the idea was tabled at a recent meeting, and thanks to the support of affiliate presidents, the Senior and Junior Championships will be combined for the first time since 1998. 

Other factors included the opportunity with a ‘long weekend’ to be played from Australia Day, Friday January 26th – Sunday January 28th. The busy calendar of events for the year will also benefit from the combined Championships including: 

• The late start to the season (due to the Australian Masters Games October 7-13, 2023) 
• Hosting Two National Championships (U-23 Women’s’ in December ‘23 and Open Men’s in March ‘24) 
• Early finish to the season (with Easter the last weekend in March 2024) 

The combined event will save every competition in the state a weekend for more local games. 

These Championships promise to be an unforgettable event, showcasing talent from across the state in all divisions and providing a platform for friendly competition and camaraderie. 

We are committed to providing an engaging program for all participants. The tournament will also feature the annual Emmsee Sportswear Homerun Derby. 

We encourage all members to mark their calendars and start preparing for this exciting event. More details, including registration information and event schedule, will be shared later in the year.
