Our annual Club Development Forum, held on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August at The Arkaba Hotel was a success, by all accounts.

Topics ranged from our staff operational updates, an introduction to our partnerships, discussions around grants and funding, the governance, finance and strategy update from the Board, an overview of Game Plan, and updates from our State Coordinators of Coaching, Scoring and Umpiring, as well as an online presentation from Softball Australia Sports Integrity Manager, Matt Tuohey.

There were also sessions on membership including information from our Game Development Officers, Bri,Aisling, Charli and Jess, and a presentation from Naomi James about Winter Softball at Ridley.

The participants also engaged in round-table discussions on growth, membership, and participation ideas for programs, as well as potential sponsorship and partnership opportunities. The ideas generated from these discussions are included in the presentation document.

In 2026, the Forum will be online over 2 nights, and return to face-to-face in the alternate years.
