Penny Causby - Softball Journey, Around The World

Little did Penny Causby know that supporting her daughter’s sporting interest would lead to an around the world softball journey. 2021 Dragons Camp Wrap

A total of 120 young softballers began arriving West Beach around 9:00am, anxious but excited to start this year’s Dragons Camp. Throughout the camp, players would be given the chance to improve their skills and knowledge, make new friends and challenge themselves to play at an even higher level.

Junior Athlete of the Year Announced

This year marks the 24th year that West Beach Parks have supported our annual Awards by putting their name to a perpetual trophy and providing a gift voucher for the State’s best Junior Athletes (one girl and one boy under 18 years).

Chairman Award - Jo Liddell

In a season that our sport needed more help off-field than ever before, we had a number of people give us tremendous support, for which we're very grateful... but none quite like Jo Liddell. Community Coach of the Year Award

The Softball SA Community Coach of the Year is someone who made a significant contribution to their team, club, association and/or State. This award recognizes the exceptional contribution made by a South Australian softball coach during 2020/21 season, with a focus on improving softball through encouraging participation, development, integrity and making softball more welcoming, safe, and inclusive.
